Building One PA has successful start
More than 600 people from every corner of Pennsylvania attended the first Building One Pennsylvania Conference in Lancaster Friday. The event was the first step in building a statewide coalition around the idea that our urban centers and older downtowns need to be saved. Keynote speakers Myron Orfield and David Troutt made it clear that decades of misguided state and federal policies need to be changed for Pennsylvania to be able to compete in the 21st-century economy. YorkCounts Director James DeBord was co-chair for the day, and Board President Loren Kroh participated as a panelist. Read coverage here and here, and see photos here.
