Strength in numbers. When we work together, we're stronger. Better. In 2001, after more than two years of work, individuals and organizations, collaborating for the first time under the YorkCounts banner, released a research undertaking to shed light on the York County community and provide insight on where our region may be headed. These many measurements have come to be known, shorthand, as our Indicators project.

The list of specific indicators we're monitoring has changed as YorkCounts has evolved, and in fact, a committee is re-evaluating the list right now in advance of preparing an updated report. This page will present the new findings in March 2009, but it will always house YorkCounts' archival work -- both in a web-compatible format and in the forms the reports originally took -- as well as any real-time updates that are available.
